Chris, you're a master at what you do!
Rock on!!

And I used to call it delegating, but 'ideas with handles' and passing them off sounds much better.

The strangest thing about MY way of doing business is that things just happen. It's not that I'm not doing things to make that happen, but rather, that I'm not exactly steering an end state. Instead, I'm just sharing who I am, what I know, and asking repeatedly if I can help out.

I give all my ideas handles. This means, I let people take them and run with them. Why? Because the best participation strategy will leave everyone feeling like they're part of the game. And THAT becomes a great way to get people to come back for more.

Agenda? Me? My agenda is making sure all the great people like you get connected to all the other great people out there, and that you all find some neat way to bring everything forward a little bit more.

Thanks Clay & Rick! I'm glad that those ideas are helpful. Since I started practicing this, I've gotten to know some really cool people! It's a great way to network.

I forgot to include the most obvious one that I've used over at my other blog - go thru your Friend's list & add people that you know (or want to know).

You have just explained so much that I was dying to understand. Thank you for the practical information and suggestions. You are an all-star Facebook evangelist!

Connie, this is a great post. The same level of advocacy I have been doing here at work, but far more articulate and complete. Now I think I will just point them here. :-)
