I've ridden the bus in Orange County, CA, too -- the OCTA system (it's quite good, with nice, new buses). Specifically, I've taken the bus from Orange County/John Wayne airport south down the PCH to San Clemente -- actually several times, round trip. Great ride, and scenic as heck, with those awesome ocean views. Grand total one way: two bucks! And that's only because it requires a transfer (two bus fares). Beats a taxi or rental car by a long shot! Of course, it takes about an hour and half -- but I have my laptop to work on... :-) cheers, Graeme Hi, Connie.
