Great post, Connie! I'm as enthusiastic about Twitter as I am about Facebook! I couldn't imagine life without either of these two powerful platforms for instant connection and market positioning.

Thanks for the heads up on Jeremiah's post too - I don't always get to keep up with all my fave bloggers!

Hope you're doing awesome! :D

Thanks for that recent example Andrew! I think that Twitter is going to be just as valuable as Google alerts.

Hey David - It's great that you've built that into Radian6! You guys have a brilliant solution for all that I do manually thru a variety of methods. I definitely recommend that people check into Radian6 if they want a nice solution for tracking conversations about their brand!

Hi Connie, great points. For me, I make it a habit to generally follow folks that mention Radian6. As you say it's a quick way of saying a digital "Hi there" and I care to hear what you are saying. Now that Radian6 has full Twitter coverage as part of the solution I use our own solution to stay on top of what being mentioned in Twitter and of course all of the other types of social media. That's actually how I knew you just mentioned us here in your post of course :-) Hope all is well ACDSee. Cheers. David

Perfect example of a company monitoring twitter:

http://tinyurl.com/4f5mb7

Michael Arrington complained about Comcast and they promptly showed up at his door to fix it. Now the conversation has shifted to "Did they only do that because he is an "A-lister?" But that is a far better conversation for Comcast than they would have had to deal with if he had written a 100% negative post on TechCrunch!
