Thanks Dave!
And yes, ACDSee has an uploader for Flickr built into it. And when you tag photos in ACDSee (add keywords) - they are put into Flickr too. For example you could label photos London, vacation - and those tags would automatically be listed in Flickr.

Connie - Thanks for sharing so much of your experience. I'm still using the 'other' product but because of what you are doing at ACDSee, I've actually blindly recommended you knowing full well that I'm still using the inferior experience product. (I'm just one of those too busy to invest in learning a new piece of software right now).

I've been a flickr user for years now. Does ACDSee have something built-in to publish to flickr?

Here comes Spring!

Thanks Toby,
As many have said - It's about relationships. And the Community Manager position is ideal for adding the special touches that give the brand personality & connect the customers to the company.

Connie - This is one of the most important posts I've seen on not only how to engage with your customers but how to make them feel special and appreciated. Even in the world of social media too many companies ask. ask. ask. for information/feedback but rarely go the extra steps to "give back" to the person. No wonder you are one of the thought leaders of the emerging new space of community management!
