And you're right about connections and networking. You never know how things are going to spin out from the connections you make. As for what I do, I'm a freelance communications consultant, but I spend most of my time writing web content for larger companies. I've spent a lot of my career handling internal communications for companies and now that I'm on my own, I like to mix work from larger companies with opportunities to help smaller businesses and non-profits work out how to get what they need from new technology.
